Owned and operated by Gareth & Ellie Snyman, the company is run from their home on a game farm.  They are passionate about wild life and nature, and will design an exclusive home based on your specifications - which will be completely tuned into the surrounding African landscape whilst maximising the views, but with total luxury and top quality finishes and furnishings.  They also own and run AfriBiz - www.afri-biz.biz - from where they source and supply a complete range of finishing products -tiles, bamboo and wood flooring,LED lighting and solar products, balustrades, kitchens, sanitaryware, wndows and doors, furniture etc.  They employ master crafts people who design and create fabulous fittings for the various rooms - bars, kitchens, bathroom units etc.  Everything to the highest quality.

Nestled between valleys and mountains in the Limpopo region of Bela Bela is this 430ha hectare farm with excellent balanced sweet and sour veld grazing, and a huge diversity of plants, scrubs and some tree species. SAFARI SPLENDOUR The Game Farm properties shown here are on exclusive up market private developments near Bela Bela, close to Mabula Lodge in the beautiful Waterberg mountains. The sectional title developments are a mere 120 kilometers from Pretoria with surfaced roads all the way to the farms. They are close to Bela Bela, a town with all amenities, focused on holidaymakers with numerous developments, game parks and hot water springs in and around town. The 430 hectares farm we are currently showing has an abundance of game. No public amenities have been provided on the farm and the development is intended exclusively for the owners and their friends. No commercial letting of properties is allowed. However, letting of homes on a full time basis is permitted. There is a security gate at the front entrance that is linked to your cellular phone number. This particular development consists of three groups of 10x 1 hectare stands. The most southern group is overlooking the springbok flats with the Magaliesberg mountains in Pretoria on the horizon. The central group sits high up on a ridge, 2 kilometers away with views over the springbok flats or on virgin bushveld and the northern group is a further 2 kilometers away in the bush, far away from any civilization. Some owners reside permanently on the estate whilst others use it as a getaway from the buzz of the city, a mere one hour drive from home. The estate has game viewing trails, several beautiful game viewing trails, hiking trails, 4x4 trails and a dam with tilapia fish. All stands are fully serviced with clean borehole water and electricity. Together with ownership of any property comes 1/30 ownership of the farm. Shared ownership, with up to 4 owners, is possible.
Project Management of your dream house
We offer the following services for our clients who buy a property and want to build. HOUSE DESIGN : Our architect will design and complete working drawings, based on the customers input, a home of their style and size requirements. The cost for this would be R195.00/m² or about £15/m² COSTING : We will commission a full costing and Bill of Quantities for an accurate assessment of cost. This approx 35 page report lists all costs with some contingency built in and costed at cost with no builders profit included. The cost for this complete report is about 0.75% of build cost value. The client needs to give full input into the type of finishes required as PC (personal choice) items affect the total report. PROJECT MANAGEMENT : Daktari Properties will undertake to project manage your building with on site supervision as well as obtaining the best products and services at the most reasonable price. These prices can at all times be compared to the costing report and the client is at all times aware of how their budget is being maintained. A single project manager will never manage more than 2 properties at any one time and the client is thereby assured of the quality of the supervision and care in their new asset. Properties will take about 10 to 12 months from breaking ground to complete and, although the actual building would be erected much quicker, the quality finishing of the home requires time and continual supervision to achieve a superior end product. The cost for project management is between 1% and 1.4% of value depending on the individual project. CUSTOM FITTINGS AND FIXTURES : Daktari Properties will also undertake to source the custom made fixtures that will make the new home perfect as per the clients brief. Whether this is custom made solid or semi solid kitchens, studies and cupboards as well as custom designed vanities if required. DECOR : We will also assist when required to help source furniture as well as soft furnishing as required by the client and will also negotiate the best deals for this. MAINTENANCE : Daktari Properties will also, where required, for a monthly management fee assist with managing the property to ensure that all is in working order and cleaned regularly as well as ensuring that when the owner is going to use the house all is in order and ready for the holiday.

The wild life includes giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, waterbuck, kudu, impala, njala and mountain reedbuck. Also an abundance of bird life, and many of the trees are marked.
